With the European project LIFE – REthinkWaste, 11 partners from 4 European countries discussed the possibility of disseminating “turnkey” governance models based on the PAYT (Pay-as-you-throw) and KAYT (Know-as-you-throw) to increase separate waste collection and at the same time reduce the tariff amounts. ARPAV Veneto, part of the consortium, asked us to contribute to the organization of an international hybrid conference, physical and online, to illustrate the activities carried out on a regional scale as part of the project.

Context and planning: premium organization

The meeting took place in Venice in a prestigious setting identified by our initiative as part of the preparatory activities for its organization. Among others, we also contributed to inspecting the room, sending invitations and pre-registrations of the participants, live and remotely, and sending technical and organizational information to make the access and use experience maximally fluid.

Catering: the taste of meeting

We also searched for suppliers and supervised a catering service for the coffee break and lunch. Speakers and people attending the proceedings greatly appreciated these convivial and informal moments.

Technical direction and streaming: hybrid is the new normal

In addition to supervising the event in the hall, ensuring its complete success, and managing the reception of about 50 participants, we also took care of the direction and audio and video service for remote online transmission, allowing many other people to attend the conference smoothly. We carried out the assignment with maximum effectiveness, thanks to our increasingly advanced skills in organizing digital and hybrid events gained over the last few years.
