Women and digital: a combination to be enhanced and communicated better

To promote the new Digital Agenda “Data Valley Bene Comune”, and in particular the objectives of Challenge 6, “Women and Digital”, the Emilia-Romagna Region has organized the Women in Tech cycle: 4 events in as many open laboratories in the region, also broadcast in streaming, to take stock of digital gender gaps, putting the Regional Councilor for the Digital Agenda in dialogue with expert women in the topics covered. We at Absolut have the task of promoting the initiative, with the aim of capturing interest and ensuring maximum presence at the meetings, and at the same time coordinating all organizational aspects to ensure their full success, both in presence and online.

The communication plan: innovation and participation

The first step is to develop the communication strategy. With a multi-channel and multi-stakeholder plan, we define the actions and the materials to be implemented, to give maximum visibility to the initiative also thanks to the communicative contribution of partners, starting with the open laboratories involved in the organization. To raise awareness of the territories on the importance of the issues dealt with, leveraging the authority and the rooting capacity of those who live and animate the territories on a daily basis, with a constant commitment in the areas of innovation and participation.

The visual identity: coherence and versatility

The second step brings to the creation of the visual identity. A logo with modern and clean features forms the basis for the proposal of an integrated and highly versatile graphic system, which is declined in the production of posters, save the date, social media kits, and other tools. The goal is to create an ideal mix between consistency and flexibility to meet the most varied promotional needs and ensure maximum visibility and recognition of the cycle of events.

An integrated and performing media mix

The communication travels along different tracks: from press releases to targeted mailings, sent in close coordination with the partners involved in the organization, to web releases that introduce the issues under consideration, passing through intense use of social media that also includes testimonial videos and photo galleries, to promote the project with the right variety of tools and modulations. To give even more strength to the whole, a web advertising campaign on the Google Display network promotes meetings on generalist newspapers and thematic websites, on a national, regional, and territorial scale, bringing in more than 2,000,000 advertisements and about 10,000 visits to web content.

An impeccable organization

At the same time, we take care of all the functional aspects of the organizational secretariat: from relations with the open laboratories and other partners involved to those with the speakers, to the inspection and planning activities necessary to guarantee the preparation and success of the meetings. In doing so, we make available the rich wealth of knowledge and professionalism gained in over 20 years of event management, taking care of every aspect down to the smallest detail, and thus ensuring impeccable and highly satisfactory service.

Digital direction: the tech side of Women in Tech

Thanks to our technical direction service, the events are also broadcast online, on the web, on YouTube, and on Facebook, allowing us to broaden the audience of the initiative. For the same reason, the recordings are published on YouTube for use on-demand, to extend overtime the communicative performance of a project that deserves maximum visibility due to the particularly innovative and original cut of the format and the topics covered.
