Fresh air for sustainability

By coordinating the prepAIR project, financed with European Life program resources, the Emilia-Romagna Region (General Directorate for Territorial and Environmental Care) collaborates with 13 other partners, including all the Regions of the Po Basin area, to strengthen and extend the scope of the actions envisaged by the regional plans and by the pre-existing Basin Agreement, with which the aim is to improve the air quality in the Po Valley territory, with a further extension to Slovenia. We at Absolut have the task of supporting the institution in acting to return the results achieved so far, articulated in three discussions and in-depth events and communication initiatives to support and disseminate them.

Step 1: the Bologna conference

The first event is a conference organized in Bologna, in hybrid mode, to present the results of the Pillar Agriculture actions. Our task ranges from the management of all aspects of the organizational secretariat before, during and after the event, including for example the management of relations with the speakers, the coordination with the scientific secretariat, the organization of the light lunch, and the photographic documentation of the works. We produce also promotional communication materials and tools, in line with the visual identity of the project, and manage the technical and organizational supervision of the virtual direction, which allows the event to be followed even online, ensuring the intervention of remote speakers.

Step 2: the guided tour

Following, we make our expertise available to coordinate all the organizational aspects functional to the organization of a study visit to a farm in the Piacenza area that has distinguished itself for virtuous actions in the field of sustainability. The support contemplates the care of relations with the company staff, the organization of all the functional details of the trip, and the supervision of the light lunch. We take care of these actions with the utmost meticulousness and professionalism, contributing to an experience with a high rate of knowledge and involvement, as evidenced by the photographic service we realize during its development.

Step 3: the international conference in Brussels

Last but not least, we are once again putting our dual vocation in event organization and communication, assisting the Region in organizing an international conference in Bruxelles in hybrid mode to present the results achieved throughout the project. Again for this step, we take care of the organizational secretariat at 360°; the technical and digital management of the event; an Italian-English simultaneous interpreting service, and vice versa; the organization of the lunch; and the production and sending of the event’s promotional materials.

Participation and involvement: a successful action

The success of the international conference ratifies in the best way the conclusion of organizational and communicative action as complex as stimulating. More than 200 people attend at the event in the local representative office of the Region, while dozens of viewers follow the digital streaming, perfectly successful like the physical event. Finally, we put the icing on the cake once again with a photo shoot documenting the work. We deliver it to the client, together with the complete recording of the conference, completing the assignment with the necessary and fundamental follow-up activities.
